Literacy
Literacy is so much fun in Red Class! We have a daily phonics lesson, in which we learn our Letters and Sounds up to the end of Phase 3. We use Twinkl Phonics to help us do this. We encourage the children to mark make independently, increasing their love of writing! We establish key areas around the classroom and the Early Years Garden where children can freely write and express themselves. We learn how to discuss new stories, recognise key vocabulary and predict what might happen next – the children are always very creative with this!
